Custom instrumentation for two-dimensional material assembly.

Computer-controlled systems for the precise manipulation and stacking of 2D materials into van der Waals heterostructures. Each system is engineered to client specification, compatible with polymer membranes, polymer stamps, and ceramic membranes, and configurable for inert-environment, cryogenic, and dynamic-twist operation.

System capabilities

Manipulation
Computer-controlled positioning and alignment of two-dimensional crystals
Environment
Glovebox compatible; configurable for inert and ambient operation
Cryostage
Compatible with cryogenic stages for low-temperature assembly and characterisation
Dynamic twisting
In-situ twist-angle control for moiré superlattice and twistronic experiments
Transfer media
Polymer membranes, polymer stamps, and ceramic membranes
Configuration
Engineered to client specification; consult for available options
